Xtreme Fitness Gyms Targets Dominance in Eastern European Fitness Market

Polish fitness franchise Xtreme Fitness Gyms is making waves in the fitness industry, celebrating the opening of its 100th location in Poland. With ambitious plans to expand further, the company aims to reach 500 gyms in Poland within the next six years and is setting its sights on neighboring Eastern European markets.

Milestone Growth in Poland

Xtreme Fitness Gyms experienced its most successful year to date, with 42 new clubs opened last year and over 60 additional sites planned for 2025. This rapid growth reflects the company’s strong position in the fitness franchise market, as it continues to establish itself as a key business partner for franchisees across Poland and beyond.

“We're in a very dynamic growth phase,” said founder and chair Łukasz Dojka. “Our focus is on scaling rapidly while maintaining high performance and strong franchise sales.”

Expansion Beyond Borders

With the fitness franchise market in Eastern Europe still underdeveloped, CEO James Cotton sees a unique opportunity to expand outside Poland. “The market is wide open, and we’re aiming to occupy that space quickly,” said Cotton. The company plans to grow in neighboring countries through both direct franchising and master franchise agreements, positioning Xtreme Fitness Gyms as a leader in the region.

Navigating a Challenging Polish Market

Poland’s fitness market presents unique challenges, with a low penetration rate of just 8–9% and strong competition from aggregator-based companies like Benefit Systems and Medicover. However, Xtreme Fitness Gyms is confident in its ability to thrive, leveraging the combined expertise of its leadership team. Both Dojka and Cotton bring experience from the competitive UK fitness market, while the company’s Polish roots ensure a deep understanding of local cultural nuances.

Affordable, Flexible Memberships

The gym’s business model is built around affordability and flexibility, offering memberships ranging from €35–€47 (160–215 PLN) per month. Members can choose the services they want, with options across four core areas: strength, cardio, group exercise, and relaxation. Franchise investments start at 450,000 PLN (€106,000), making Xtreme Fitness Gyms an attractive opportunity for prospective business owners.

Expanding the Xtreme Kids Concept

In addition to its core gym franchise, Xtreme Fitness launched Xtreme Kids in 2022, catering to children aged 3 to late teens. This innovative concept allows parents to work out while their children enjoy fitness classes, including activities like mini gym equipment and dance. Four Xtreme Kids sites are already operational, with plans to open 10 more in 2025, typically located adjacent to adult gyms for convenience.

Leading the Fitness Revolution in Eastern Europe

Xtreme Fitness Gyms is positioning itself as an expert in business development in Central and Eastern Europe, offering franchise opportunities and delivering affordable, high-quality fitness experiences. As the company expands, it aims to become the go-to business partner for those looking to enter the growing fitness market in Poland and neighboring countries.

With a strong foundation in Poland and ambitious plans to scale across Eastern Europe, Xtreme Fitness Gyms is poised to dominate the region’s fitness industry, bringing accessible fitness solutions to communities while creating opportunities for franchisees. For those seeking a reliable partner in the fitness market, Xtreme Fitness Gyms offers a proven model for success.
