The Korean model is it the future for CEE countries

2016-07-26 source own

The methods and the basic model that South Korea has used in recent years has caught the attention of many emerging economies and many believe that they can become a key figure when it comes to being a shareholder in the EBRD. Many officials from around the world are looking for Korean companies to ramp up investment in their countries in order to rejuvenate growth.

The investments that Korea make will allow skills and technology to be transferred and extra financing is set to play a huge role over the next few years. After already having a big hand in Europe with brands like LG and Samsung, Europe will hope that further investment will continue this ongoing project.

However, not only are countries looking towards investment from Korea, they are also looking at the Korean economy itself and treating it as somewhat of a ‘role model’. As the country has enjoyed success in recent years, many European countries will be looking in their direction to see if they can learn any important lessons moving forward.
