VDL Hapro is an internationally active Dutch manufacturer with a strong focus on innovation, quality, and sustainable production. Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Kapelle, Zeeland, the company develops, produces, and assembles premium solutions for both mobility and personal care markets.

Under its Hapro Travel brand, VDL Hapro designs and manufactures roof boxes, roof tents, towbar-mounted boxes, bike carriers, and roof rack systems that support active lifestyles and flexible travel. In the Beauty & Wellness segment, the company develops advanced tanning and skincare equipment through its well-established brands Hapro, Luxura, and Seecret.

Production takes place largely in the Netherlands, within a modern development and manufacturing facility that enables full in-house control, from concept and engineering to final assembly. A key production technology is vacuum forming, which allows the creation of durable, lightweight, and precisely shaped products such as roof boxes and sunbeds.

Sustainability is a central pillar of VDL Hapro’s strategy. The company operates with a strong circular mindset, using recycled and regenerated materials wherever possible. Up to 90% of raw materials are sourced from internal production waste and circular supply chains, reducing environmental impact while maintaining high technical and design standards.
