New Vfl Bochum contract for German Brewer

It was good news for Privatbrauerei Moritz Fiege, German brewery, this week as 2. Bundesliga team Vfl Bochum announced the extension of the ‘premier partner’ contract. The producer of the Moritz Fiege Pils beer will sponsor the team for five more seasons to 2021 which, if completed, would mark the twentieth anniversary of the partnership having started way back in 2001.

Bochum had a good season in 2015/16 having finished fifth and will be looking to use this to go one step further next year and mount an attempt to reach the Bundesliga; Bochum will gain around €400,000 from the sponsorship.
