New sustainability research for Adidas

Sport Infinity, in which Adidas is heavily involved, has decided to invest in research regarding recyclable sports good which is set to start a new age for the sporting industry. The European Commission and BASF, who are both financial partners, have both already announced their support for the research by the German company.
If the research goes to plan, the team will come out the other side with a way to develop products using waste material. If possible, all the companies involved want to find a way of recycling old sports goods to be crushed and made into a new product rather than destroyed or wasted. Football, boots in particular, will be the starting point of the research. With the support of the European Commission, Adidas, and BASF, Sport Infinity has been set up for a period of three years initially with the main priority of sustainability.
